So my Ghibli just rolled over 60,000 kilometers and I know these Italian cars need some extra love at this mileage, especially with the way I drive around the city and those occasional trips out to Al Ain. I’ve been putting off the major service because life got busy and honestly I was dreading the dealership prices, but the car has started feeling a bit rough lately, the gearbox seems a little jerky in stop and go traffic and there’s a subtle vibration at idle that wasn’t there before. I took it to a random garage near my office just for an oil change a few months back and they used some generic filter that didn’t even fit properly, so I’m definitely not making that mistake again. A buddy of mine who owns a Levante told me I should look for a place that actually has the right diagnostic equipment and understands the specific quirks of these cars, not just a general workshop that claims they can handle anything. He mentioned that a lot of independent shops here are pretty solid if you know where to look, and they charge way less than the dealer while doing an equally thorough job. I’ve been asking around and doing some research because I really want to find a Reliable Maserati Service in Abu Dhabi that won’t mess up my car or charge me a fortune, especially since I’m planning to keep this car for a few more years and I want it to stay in top shape. If anyone has had a good experience somewhere, please do share because I’m getting a bit desperate here and I don’t want to end up with another horror story like last time.
